Changes to the 2014 NEC: Article 694 and Small Wind

This session will cover the proposed changes to the 2014 National Electrical Code (NEC) Article 694, how they will affect the small wind industry, and how installers and manufacturers can get involved in the process.

  • The key changes to the code:
    • New turbine shutdown and marking requirements
    • Changes in grounding conductor requirements
    • Inclusion of “large wind” in the scope of 694

The session will be led by Robert Preus and Robert Wills, your representatives on the NEC, and Tim Zygonena, UL

Come for the session, stay for the Fair!
